Historical Figure Interviews

The next couple of days are important for all Integrated Social Studies classes as you will be presenting your Historical Figure Interviews. You will pretend to be statues of historical figures temporarily on display in the U.S. Capitol's National Statuary Hall. Each statue represents an important individual who influenced the development of democratic government in the United States. You will be interviewing men like: Pericles, ancient Athenian leader; Cicero, ancient Roman senator; Archbishop Stephen Langton, witness to the sealing of the Magna Carta; John Somers, member of the 1689 English Parliament; John Locke, English philosopher; John Adams, American founding father; and Thomas Jefferson, American founding father. Please remember to bring your prop(s), with you to class!
